It has many ancient monuments of Australian history, like Fremantle Old Town Hall, Vasco Da Gama Memorial, Frank CADD Building, Princess Theatre, etc. Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall (built in 1925 to honor the memories of the men from the district who gave their lives during the First World War) is also in Hamilton Hill.
